Current Positions

Analytics Associate

We are currently seeking Analytics Associates to help build our PAS team in India. Analytics Associates bring strong business acumen, rooted in sophisticated analytics training and related statistical experience, to various client projects across a broad range of management consulting engagements. While every project is different, the Analytics team consistently delivers high-impact, tangible results. By building a foundation with impactful insights behind each client, we are able to focus our thinking in the areas of greatest importance and touch the true drivers of change. Analytics Associates pair in-depth analysis, sophisticated modeling and advanced methodologies with strategic thinking to produce results that routinely exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical solutions and statistical expertise on client engagements and internal projects
  • Apply statistical, optimization, and other types of analytical models to market-facing business problems
  • Interpret and put into context analytical findings for impacted business stakeholders
  • Lay out an analytical framework and plan to execute using appropriate tools
  • Develop recommendations and quantify their impact
  • Present work to internal and client teams

Qualifications and Required Experience:

  • Minimum Master’s Degree, with preference in Statistics, Econometrics, Quantitative Methods, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain or Logistics
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant industry experience or background as a consultant with a top-tier firm
  • Strong analytical skills, combined with working knowledge of developing and understanding statistical, optimization or other types of models and tools used to solve market facing business problems
  • Experience providing remote support for global assignments and teams Ability to structure, develop and interpret models
  • Experience with large-scale databases preferred (e.g., MS SQL Server, Oracle, Taradata or other) and various querying tools (e.g., SQL BI Development Studio)
  • Experience working with statistical tools preferred (e.g., SPSS, SAS, JMP, etc.)
  • Understanding and experience working with optimization tools preferred (e.g., ILOG, Solver, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently or with little direction
  • Strong oral and written communication skills:
    • Ability to communicate with senior management and executives
      Capable of building client relationships at all levels
      Experience developing and delivering presentations

We currently have openings in India at our Gurgaon location. This position might involve significant travel (up to 100%) depending on the project.

Senior Analyst

We currently seek Senior Analysts to help build our PAS team in India. Senior Analysts bring strong business acumen, rooted in sophisticated analytics training, to various client projects across a broad range of management consulting engagements. By building a foundation with impactful data behind each client, we are able to focus our thinking in the areas of greatest importance and touch the true drivers of change. Senior Analysts pair in-depth analysis, custom tools, and sophisticated modeling with strategic thinking to produce results that routinely exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Analysts and other team members to provide analytical rigor and technical expertise on client engagements and internal projects
  • Learn and deploy supply chain management and sourcing techniques
  • Understand our clients’ business needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Map where the information lies within complex corporations and work with our clients to gain access to the data
  • Interview client contacts to validate data, collect qualitative information and gain client insight
  • Analyze, manipulate, cleanse and validate data from a variety of data sources and platforms
  • Use PowerPoint to document project findings, business requirements and data dictionaries
  • Present work to internal and client teams

Qualifications and Required Experience:

  • Minimum Master's Degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline
  • 2 – 4 years relevant industry experience using quantitative applications such as Microsoft Excel, Access and/or SQL Server
  • 2 – 4 years experience analyzing data and creating analytical solutions to business problems
  • Ability to understand the impact of accurate data on client projects and in the management consulting business
  • Experience providing remote support for global assignments and teams
  • Strong organizational, verbal communication and writing skills as demonstrated in previous work experience
    • Senior Analysts work in team environments with other Analysts, team members and clients from all levels of the organization, with varying backgrounds
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and work ethic
    • Senior Analysts are consistently faced with new challenges, requiring them to utilize managerial, educational and other resources

Market Analyst

Primary Job Function: The Market Analyst’s primary role is to assist category sourcing team with supplier identification/ outreach, supplier market analysis, supplier training material preparation, and other market research requested by the sourcing team. The Market Analyst is also responsible for pre-event marketing and communications with suppliers when needed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supplier identification/ outreach
  • Responsible for developing supply market analysis and refreshing it
  • Support the development of the overall strategy for leveraging Sourcing including eRFP/I and on- line bidding
  • Review supplier criteria for RFx and/or auction participation, to ensure consistency with key requirements for event success
  • Assist the category sourcing team in developing a supplier communications plan in support of Sourcing strategy
  • Conduct supplier orientation and training on the Sourcing process
  • Responsible for supplier follow up for RFx and/or auction event to ensure participation for the event
  • Assist in developing follow-up with suppliers and sourcing teams

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business is preferred
  • Previous strategic sourcing, consulting and/or purchasing experience is highly desired
  • Experience in research support roles for consulting companies will also be considered. 
  • Ability to travel to client/ and or supplier site when required
  • Talent for developing pricing models/ market baskets
  • Experience working with suppliers at a manufacturer environment is highly desired
  • Experience in supplier identification, supplier site visit at the China market is highly desired
  • Demonstrated project management skills (specifically in managing multiple projects) is preferred
  • Strong communication and analytical skills in both Chinese and English
  • Proficient understanding of Internet technology
  • Must be able to function effectively in an unstructured start-up environment

Strategic Sourcing Manager

Primary Job Function: The Sourcing Manager’s role is to develop and execute a Low Cost Country strategic sourcing strategy that delivers competitive advantage in the key areas of cost, quality, technology, delivery and responsiveness for internal partners and external customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic sourcing consulting to clients including development of the spend cube, creation of the RF(x), and guidance in the negotiation process
  • Identify and qualify alternate suppliers
  • Create and implement formal processes to embed strategic sourcing within the client organization
  • Gather and analyze data to identify strategy, operations and technology requirements and process improvements
  • Work in a self-directed environment with cross-functional procurement and sourcing teams
  • Participate in the client’s supplier negotiation as required
  • Conduct supplier site visit as required
  • Perform benchmarking and bid analysis based on market analysis and cost modeling
  • Conduct supplier training
  • Recommend actions to be taken by clients and assist clients in implementing those recommendations to ensure that measurable results are achieved and benefits are realized
  • Conduct shipment inspection as required

Qualifications:

  • BS Business or Engineering- MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years successful experience in global sourcing and/or commodity management
  • Excellent communication skill and problem solving skill
  • Sourcing experience in two or more of the following commodity categories is preferred: casting, forgings, PCBs, motors, power suppliers, machining, metal sheet fabrication, tooling, other electronic components, MRO, plastic components, textile, consumer product, and automotive components.
  • Experience using eSourcing technologies preferred (such as Ariba, Frictionless, Emptoris, and eBreviate)
  • Strong negotiation skills/ successful experience with Asia sourcing
  • Experience in developing the “total cost of ownership” model
  • Demonstrated experience in support of the region “localization” requirements
  • Experience in developing and executing RF(x)
  • Excellent project management skill
  • Proficient in MS office
  • Familiar with Customs related laws, regulations and operations in China and have a good understanding of international customs related laws and regulations is a plus
  • Experience in supplier qualification, plant visit, and supplier development is preferred
  • Experience in warehousing, transportation, and import/export logistics is a plus
  • Japanese language skill is a plus

Sourcing Associate

Primary Job Function: The Sourcing Associate’s (SA) primary role is to coach a customer category team through the e-enabled strategic sourcing process from supplier identification, supplier site visit, supplier market analysis, development of the strategy and approach through execution of an RFP campaign, an auction or negotiation event and post-negotiation follow up. The SA is also responsible for pre-event marketing and training communications with customer stakeholders and suppliers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supplier identification/ outreach
  • Responsible for supplier site visit
  • Responsible for developing supply market analysis and refreshing it
  • Support the development of the overall strategy for leveraging Sourcing including eRFP/I and on- line bidding
  • Review supplier criteria for RFx and/or auction participation, to ensure consistency with key requirements for event success
  • Support design of the bid structure and RFx process
  • Support the customer category team in developing a supplier communications plan in support of Sourcing strategy
  • Drive the category team to provide timely, high-quality data deliverables
  • Conduct supplier orientation and training on the Sourcing process
  • Responsible for supplier follow up for RFx and/or auction event to ensure participation for the event
  • Create eRFPs, auctions and practice auctions
  • Work with teams to strategize how to best use Sourcing tools within the context of their ongoing commodity strategies
  • Manage RFx and/or on-site auctions
  • Validate final bids
  • Generate and distribute eRFx and auction reports
  • Assist in developing follow-up with suppliers and sourcing teams
  • Help refine the negotiation and category strategy
  • Conduct analysis; support benefits estimation and documentation

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business is preferred
  • Previous strategic sourcing, consulting and/or purchasing experience is highly desired
